Description

As of October 17th, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. It is expected to be awarded sometime after October 20th. The Town of Leland (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Brunswick Village Blvd. Extension and Kay Todd Road Multi-Use Path The Project includes the following Work: Construction of Brunswick Village Blvd. from Kay Todd Road to Hewett Burton Road and construction of an 8 iinch paved multi-use path along existing Kay Todd Road starting at the intersection of Brunswick Village Blvd. Station (1+39 +/-) and ending at the existing end of pavement (Station 66+08 +/-). All associated drainage infrastructure included but not limited to storm drains, inlets, manholes, swales, and three stormwater ponds. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office Mondays through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner or Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Request for Information. Request for information deadline is close of business on August 19, 2022. Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the contract value is required. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders are included in the Bidding Documents. All bids are to be valid for 120 days from the bid date. The Town of Leland reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
