| Description | Work of the Project includes the complete tear off down to existing structural deck (metal for school, tectum at the gym), replacement of any damaged deck, and installation of new roof drains, mech curbs as req., new rigid insulation and a new 2 ply modified bitumen roof system. The existing roof consists of 2 layers. The first layer is the original built up roof with some granular cover remaining on wood fiber board and perlite. The upper layer is EPDM membrane on fiber board installed on top of the original roof. Also included will be the replacement of the existing roof drains and down spouts with new. |
