Description | **As of June 20, 2023, project was awarded to Payne & Dolan, Inc., awarded amount is $387,317.80.** Project involves approximately 8,570 S.Y. of partial depth asphalt milling and overlay and 7,630 S.Y. of asphalt pulverizing and repaving, miscellaneous structure adjustments, and landscape restoration. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Thiensville and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Thiensville reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Thiensville and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Partial sets of Bidding Documents are not available. Neither Owner, Engineer nor Issuing Office is responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any Addenda, obtained from other sources. The cost of Bidding Documents is non-refundable. Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to the Village of Thiensville at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Thiensville equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the Village of Thiensville as liquidated damages. |
