Description

Provide habitat improvement related site services for the Park and Wildlife at one site (or “Project Location”) of 1,093 acres in the East Cathedral Rim area of the Piceance Basin located in one single polygon located approximately 35 miles Southwest of Meeker, Colorado. The project action is to mow/masticate and thin vegetation predominantly consisting of mixed Pinyon/Juniper, Serviceberry and other brush species as well as all standing dead burned skeleton trees. Mastication specifications require rubber tired machines in good running condition equipped with vertical shaft mastication cutting heads and Tire Chains capable of working on slopes up to 30 percent and masticating trees or logs up to 16 inches in diameter at breast height (DBH).
