Description | This Project is located at Waverly Belmont Elementary School, 2301 10th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204. The Project includes the design and construction of a new parking lot and drive lanes to the north of the school, a multi-purpose field and additional parking to the southwest of the school, an accessible sidewalk that connects the existing play areas west of the school to Caruthers Avenue, and associated earthwork. The design and construction shall be in accordance with all applicable codes and MNPS Guidelines and Standards. Following is the scope of work for the purpose of engaging a Contractor to provide design/build services for the Waverly Belmont Traffic and Playground Project. All consultants required to complete the Project will be employed by the Contractor and must be fully licensed professionals in their respective field in the State of Tennessee. The successful Contractor will create design documents in part, utilizing the documents supplied with this solicitation. The Contractor will shall work closely with MNPS Facility Planning & Construction staff and provide all necessary project deliverables on a timely basis. All work shall be coordinated with the MNPS Project Manager and school administration. Construction hours shall be as stipulated by the building permit and aligned with the school and MNPS Project Manager. The design portion shall begin once there is a signed contract. Exact dates will be ironed out between the successful Contractor and MNPS Facility Planning & Construction staff. The design period will be from beginning the design to completion of construction documents. Once the construction documents are complete the GMP will be established. |
