Description

Scope of Work: The City is seeking professional services to Prepare preliminary engineering and Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for the Lift Station No. 4 Relocation project. Consultant services may also include but are not limited to: alternative evaluation, development of a preferred alternative, environmental planning/documentation, right of way/easement/permit acquisition services, community involvement, geotechnical engineering, traffic studies, surveying, bid process support, engineering/management support during construction and other related tasks. Summary Budget Information: The total amount contracted for this project is estimated to be, Sanitary Sewer Lift Station #4: $300,000.00 - $600,000.00 These Projects will be funded through the City's 412 Fund (Utilities). Submittals: Submittals shall include clearly identified sections and addressing the following areas: 1) A summary of the project team members, 2) resume of principle-in-charge and project manager, and/or key stuff members, 3) work history, 4) lesson learned by the firm/team regarding similar projects with similar sized public agencies, 5) brief discussion of firms/team's approach to project management to include, but not limited to, Q/A, cost controls, scope change, schedule management, communicating, managing sub consultants, etc. Selection Process: The selection process will include both a SOQ review process and an interview process for short-listed firms. SOQs will take between 2-3 weeks for the City to review. All firms submitting proposals will be contacted as to the status of their SOQ once short-listed firms have been selected. Interviews will be scheduled over the following 1-2 weeks with short-listed firms. The City of Lynnwood will select the best qualified consultant from those interviewed. Selected firms for interviews will be evaluated based on the following criteria: 1-Firms' qualifications and experience 2-Experience with similar services The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
