Gilman 2023 Street Maintenance Project

The extent of the work involved is as follows: Full depth mill and HMA placement, full depth HMA patching, and crack cleaning and seeding. Proposals will be acted on by the City of Gilman at a meeting to be held at City Hall at 128 N. Main Street, Gilman, Iowa 50106, at 6:00 P.M local time on August 9, 2023, or at such later time and place as may then be fixed. The City of Gilman reserves the right to award the Contract at the time of said meeting or at such later time may then be fixed and to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities and to enter into such Contract as it shall deem to be for the best interests of said Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price at the time of contract execution. The work under the contract shall actively commence within ten (10) days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Once the project is commenced the paving shall be completed by November 3, 2023.
