Description

The City of Beaver Dam will receive and accept bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following: 2023 Street Reconditioning Program. Estimated Completion Date: Sept. 30, 2023. Estimated Value: $ 900,000.00 In general, Work consists of 35,000 square yards of milling and/or pulverizing existing asphalt pavement and base; 35,000 square yards of new asphalt pavement; 2,150 lineal feet of new epoxy pavement markings; erosion and traffic control; along with cleanup and related miscellaneous construction. Direct inquiries to the City's Director of Engineering, Todd Janssen. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner. Aggregate, Construction, Street/Road Asphalt Resurfacing and Milling, Sawcutting/Sidewalk/Pavement, Street/Road Asphalt Milling, Traffic Control, Grade and Surface, Pavement Resurface and Rehabilitation, Pavement Removal, Asphalt Pulverizing, Landscaping - Seeding, Erosion Control - Temporary, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete), Materials, Equipment and Supplies, Miscellaneous, Roadway Pavement Markings, Street/Road Pavement Marking. Project Bid Received By & Opening Information: The City of Beaver Dam will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN.com via online electronic bid service (QuestvBid) until 10:00 A.M., local time, Thursday, May 11, 2023, at which time they will be downloaded and publicly posted for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following: 2023 Street Reconditioning Program.
