| Description | The Contractor shall supply hydroseeding services, per the specifications of this solicitation, to the VDOT Lynchburg District. This service shall be provided on an as-needed basis. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide the necessary equipment, personnel, supervision, materials, and work area protection to perform hydraulic application of seed, fertilizer, wood cellulose, lime and the application of straw mulch as needed on selected roads, properties and projects within the 10-county Lynchburg District to include the counties of: Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell, Pittsylvania and Nelson, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Halifax and Prince Edward. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From date of award through one year (renewable) Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Sandra Mullins at Sandra.Mullins@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on July 22, 2022 |
