W--Washer and Dryer Lease

This contract will be a five year lease (base year with four option years) resulting in the delivery and installation of 1,141 top loading commercial grade energy star compliant washing machines, 1,409 commercial grade dryers, 274 stacked commercial grade dryer units (1 unit being comprised of two dryers stacked one on top of the other), and 224 stacked washer dryer units (1 unit being comprised on commercial grade front loading dryer and one commercial grade front loading energy star compliant washer). The machines will be distributed among 37 different buildings. The installation will be coordinated with the removal of current machines to ensure there is not a break of more than 24 hours wherein the buildings residents will not have access to washers & dryers. The Vendor will provide maintenance for the machines while in service and will either repair or replace nonfunctioning machines within 72 hours of notification. At the end of the lease will remove the machines in coordination with the installation of new machines. The Contractor shall furnish all washers and dryers, labor, supervision, materials, repair parts, supplies and equipment, and all repairs of washers and dryers as specified herein. The number, kind and location of machines are detailed in Exhibit 1. The Contractor will provide labor, maintenance and parts for for service of 42 top loading washers, and 42 (2 dryers per unit) double stacked dryers provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in 1 building. This GFE will be new equipment installed by October of 2020. The number, kind and location of machines are also detailed in Exhibit 1 and identified as GFE located in building 6314.
