| Description | Provide the necessary labor, materials and equipment to demolish and remove from the site the existing Crown Boiler in the north boiler room of the Collection Building (a.k.a CVM Building) at the Water Pollution Control Facility located at 210 Municipal Road, Waterbury, Connecticut. Contractor shall furnish and install one new natural gas hot water boiler-burner unit conforming to the below equipment specifications. Boiler manufacturer shall be Burnham, H.B. Smith or approved equal. Bidder shall disconnect all existing hot water supply and return piping, gas piping, vent piping, electrical power and control wiring from the existing unit and reconnect to new unit. Provide the necessary mechanical and electrical piping, conduit and wiring to make new connections based on the size difference of new unit as necessary. Existing controls and existing recirculating pumps will be utilized for the new boiler. Existing breeching (which is currently disconnected) shall be reinstalled as part of this work. | ||
