Elevator and Lift Modernization Program

Palatine Park District will be accepting sealed bids for Elevator and Lift Modernization Program. The Elevator is located at Birchwood Recreation Center- 435 W. Illinois and the Lift is located at The Community Center 250 E. Wood Street. Both locations are located in Palatine, Illinois. The successful bidder is expected to provide complete bids and work for both the Elevator and Lift Modernization under this project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid Guarantee that shall not be less than 10 percent of the amount of the base bid. All Bidders will be required to certify that they are in compliance with laws governing Prevailing Wage, bid rigging, bid rotation, equal opportunity employment and substance and sexual harassment and are not barred from contracting with any unit of State or local Government. Forms and Certifications will be included in the bid packet and must be submitted. Successful Bidder will be notified after the February 14, 2023 Palatine Board meeting. Because of Park District program scheduling at the Park District- work shall not start earlier than August 7, 2023 and finish no later than September 1, 2023. Successful bidder work shall be continuous from start to finish. The Palatine Park District Board reserves the right to reject any bid, or portion thereof, or to waive minor deviations from the bid documents, if it deems it is in the public interest to do so.
