Description

The project begins at Broad Street and extends easterly to the head of the Assabet River Rail Trail (ARRT) at the intersection of Highland Street and Cashman Street, a total distance of approximately 3,300 feet. Proposed improvements include roadway reconstruction, traffic signal upgrades, pedestrian and bicycle improvements to the maximum extent practical within the public Right-of Way, with cement concrete sidewalks, vertical granite curbing, ADA-compliant ramps and a dedicated connection of the (ARRT) to Marlborough Main Street, in the downtown area of the City.
