Description

This contract provides for construction services to remove (26) 8 x 12 reducer ports at the 60-inch diameter, 168-foot long Vancouver Westside Wastewater Treatment Facility outfall diffuser in the Columbia River, and then install 16 owner-furnished Tideflex 12 Series 35Wide Bill diffuser valves; and (10) 12 steel blind flanges. The work is permitted by federal, state and local agencies, with conditions. The work must be completed by August 31, 2022. Work shall be coordinated with the City of Vancouver and Port of Vancouver. The contract work shall be fully complete within 60 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed but no later than August 31, 2022. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
