Bio-Physics Cold Rooms

The University of Connecticut Bio-Physics Building has climate controlled rooms on the 3rd floor. The existing equipment for 6 of these rooms is outdated and in need of replacement. Work consists of removal and replacement of evaporator from each room. Removal and replacement of the controls and control panel for each room. Removal and Replacement of the condensers (6) in Mechanical Room 501, testing of existing refrigerant lines, minor work with ceilings, plumbing. Electrical and insulation. Disposal of all waste material and start of and commissioning of each rooms system after installation. There is an alternate is for the replacement of the refrigerant lines (two for each room) to be replaced instead of being reused.
