Demolition activities includes: on slte material testing as necessary; dust control; storm water pollution control; clearing and grubbing of construction area; stub and cap of selective existing utilities; selective demolition of existing site elements as specified in plans; removal of existing drinking fountains; demolition of existing asphalt trail and associated curbing; selective demolition of existing concrete sidewalk; demolition of concrete basketball courts, goals, associated court lighting footings and wire; selective demolition of existing trail lighting, associated footings and wires; demolition of existing play equipment, footings, curbing and sand. Selecitive demolition of existing turf areas; removal of selective parking lot striping; selective earth moving; grading and soil preparation. New installations includes: concrete flatwork including but not limited to concrete sidewalks, concrete trail, picnic pads, seating areas, and concrete curbing; selective parking lot strlping; landscape work including but not limited to trees & shrubs, new turf grass in select areas, decomposed granite rock mulch, stabilized decomposed granite, rip rap, boulders, selective replacement of existing irrigation system, and new drip irrigation; new walking traif amenities including but not limited to stamped concrete mile markers and rubber surfacing; renovation of the existing play area on the west side of the park including new play equipment as shown on the plans, a resilient safety surface sysiem, a prefabricated 50' fabric shade structure, and a 20' diameter prefabricated metal shade structure; new and existing site furnishings including concrete benches, concrete picnic tables, trash receptacles, refurbished permanent bollards, refurbished metal barbeque grills, and drinking fountains; permanent signage; post tension slab for one full basketball court and one half basketball court including sports court surfacing; new permanent soccer goals, nets, and soccer field striping; and a new LED lighting system including both trail and court lighting, the footings, and the wiring.
