Romeo Community Schools - Door and Locker Replacement - Bid Package# 21-1- 2022

Barton Malow Builders requests Bid Proposals on behalf of the Owner for the construction of 21-1-2022 Romeo Community Schools Doors & Locker Renovations for Bid Package # 21-1-2022 work. Alternatively, bid proposals must be received by hand or mail delivery - To the attention of: 1) Romeo Community Schools 2) Attention: Ms. Vicki Laseke 3) 316 N. Main St. 4) Romeo, MI 48065 Proposals shall be based on the requirements set forth in the Barton Malow Builders project manual dated July 05, 2022 and construction bidding documents prepared by French Associates project drawings and specifications dated June 22, 2022 for: 1. Bid Category: Doors, Frames, and Hardware 2. Bid Category: Lockers Accepted Bidders will be required, as a condition precedent to award of Contract, to furnish, satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and Certificates of Insurance as required in the Project Manual Project is subject to state sales and/or use taxes and Bidder is required to include such taxes in its Bid Proposal. Barton Malow Builders has been contracted by the Owner in the capacity of Construction Manager for the Project, and shall act as representative of the Owner to the extent required/allowed under its Owner contract. All bidders are required to prequalify to the requirements described in Document 002113 - Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be pre-qualified for this bid package by Barton Malow Builders before document distribution or receipt of bids per the Instructions to Bidders. Barton Malow Builders reserve the right to request qualification forms or additional information from any Bidder before issuing Bidding Documents, receiving Bid Proposals or awarding the Agreement. Bidders will be required to submit with their Bid Proposals a Bid Security, in the amount of 5% of base bid, by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the state where the Project is located. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with Romeo Community Schools on the AIA Document A132 Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Construction Manager as Adviser, 2009 Edition.
