| Description | The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the 2” milling and 2” resurfacing of four (4) miles of roads in Little Egg Harbor Township and Harvey Cedars Borough. Included in this Contract is the replacement of C.M.P. storm drains using Ductile Iron Pipe or Reinforced Concrete Pipe; the reconstruction of concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, and ADA curb ramps; and the installation of detectable warning surfaces, retrofit inlet face plates, bicycle safe grates, and traffic stripes and markings. Five (5) traffic signals will also be modified as part of this Contract. This work includes upgrading the existing pedestrian facilities to current ADA standards and modifying the existing traffic signals to meet current MUTCD standards. The various locations involve the installation of pedestrian signal assemblies, countdown heads, and additional traffic signal heads. |
