| Description | This project will resurface approximately 1.0 mile of State Route 100 (Central Park Avenue) in the City of Yonkers in Westchester County. The project's specifications include removing the existing wearing surface and replacing it with a 1.5-inch asphalt overlay from curb to curb in the northbound and southbound directions. The project begins at a point just north of the New York State Thruway (also known as Interstate-87) overpass at reference marker 100 8701 1005 and northward to a point approximately 100-feet north of the intersection with Arlington Street at reference marker 100 8701 1015. The road segment has multiple lanes in each direction with a wide shoulder to accommodate on street parking and several bus stops. Additionally, this area encompasses pedestrian sidewalk ramps that will be improved with new or enhanced pedestrian signing, and upon further review during design, and if determined to be warranted, the pedestrian sidewalk ramps will be reconstructed. | ||||||
