Description | Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. 1. The Municipality is an Equal Opportunity employer. 2. The Municipality shall govern submittal, open- ing, and award of bids. Project Identification: Johnson City Village Hall and DPW Facility 1. Project Location: 60 Lester Ave, Johnson City, NY 13790 Project Description: Phase I Construction: Site work for new parking lot and extension of Brigham Avenue; Provide Salt Storage Facility foundation and slab on grade; Provide Fuel Dis- pensing Facility; Demolish architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and components and portions of the concrete slab on the interior of the existing office build- ing; and demolish concrete slab in existing office and maintenance buildings where concrete was demolished. Provide concrete foundations, CMU bearing walls, structural steel framing for mez- zanines in both the existing office building and existing maintenance building . Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. Multiple Contract Project consisting of the fol- lowing prime contracts: a. General Building Construction. b. Plumbing Construction. c. Mechanical Construction. d. Electrical Construction. BID SECURITY A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. TIME OF COMPLETION A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. |
