Description

The Project will consist of removal and disposal of the ACMs and trace asbestos materials to facilitate building demolition located at 3536 N State Route #19, Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449 according to the specifications provided in the bid packet. ll bids must be signed and submitted in accordance with the specification. Bids must state the total price and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked - OTTAWA COUNTY BROWNFIELD REMEDIATION PROGRAM ASBESTOS ABATEMENT OF CARROLL TOWNSHIP SCHOOL - and addressed to the Ottawa County Commissioners, 315 Madison Street, Room 103, Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Attention of bidders is called to the following requirements, particularly to the Ohio prevailing wage rate, various insurance requirements and the requirement for payment bond and performance. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest/best bidder The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract bond using the form in the Bid Documents. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit in favor of the Ottawa County Commissioners, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract bond will be required, which is a hundred percent (100%) payment and performance bond. This project is being funded by the Ohio Department of Development's (ODOD) Brownfield Remediation Program
