Description | Rehabilitate twin-cell corrugated metal culverts on SR 3006 in Erie County conveying Marsh Run. The subject pipes have dimensions of approximately 4’-6” H x 5’-6” W and both have a length of 44’-0”. SR 3006 is a two-lane rural highway with 12’ lanes and 4’ shoulders. The invert of the pipes is approximately 6.5’ below the roadway surface. The existing pipes are showing signs of excessive corrosion and deterioration which is beginning to affect the integrity of the roadway. PennDOT is looking to use the CIP liner method to rehab these culverts and maintain one lane open to traffic during construction. |
