This Project Is An Interior And Exterior Renovation To The Existing Medical Science Research Building Ii Loading Dock. The Dock Will Expand From Four Bays To Six Bays, And Will Include New Shipping/Staff Areas And Upgraded Finishes Throughout. 1. Existing Office And Staff Areas Will Be Demolished, And The Existing Wooden Dock Area Will Be Infilled To Expand The Number Of Bays From Four To Six. The Exterior Masonry Stair, Wooden Dock Exterior Infill And Aluminum Glazing System Will Be Demolished For Two New Overhead Doors And Scissor Lifts To Grade. 2. Gas Cylinder Room A590a Will Be Demolished And The Slab Will Be Infilled To Be Flush With Level A. Owner To Temporarily Relocate Gas Bottle Storage For Duration Of Work. 3. Three Existing Dock Levelers Will Be Replaced With New Dock Levelers. The Existing Scissor Lift Will Be Removed And Replaced With A New Dock Leveler. Each Bay Will Receive A New Dock Shelter, Bumpers, Dock Light And Overhead Coiling Door. 4. A New Man Door With Masonry And Concrete Stair Will Be Added For Pedestrian And Driver Traffic Adjacent To, With Access To, The Main Shipping And Receiving Dock Area
