Description | Police Department Ust Tank Removal and Ast Replacement Project. The major construction items are estimated as follows: Removal of 8,000-gallon UST along with pump, piping and electric service and monitoring wiring, placement of Township acquired 4,000gallon ConVault tank, installation of tank pad, pumps, piping, monitoring systems and electric service wiring. Removal of the UST will also require the temporary relocation of a 275kW diesel generator located within the excavation zone of the tank removal and other items such as site restoration to be included as required in a tank installation and removal project. The Township reserves the right to reject all bids pursuant to NJSA 40A:11-13.2. The guaranty accompanying the bid proposal shall be given in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid, minimum of $500.00 and not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), and may be given at the option of the bidder by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or a Bid Bond from a reputable insurance company licensed in the State of New Jersey.
