Description | **As of March 2, 2023, project was awarded to H.O. Construction, awarded amount is $711,967.11.** Project is located approximately 7.5 miles west of Gallup New Mexico in an area known as Williams Acres. Work consists of installing 10-inch and 6-inch waterline along Highway 118 within the Highway Right of Way, the erection of a concrete masonry water meter station, installing a 10-inch waterline across NM Highway 118 via boring and installing several fire hydrants. Installation of the 10-inch waterline requires the crossing of several residential entrances which are a mixture of chip seal and gravel. The water metering station shall house all required pressure reducing valve, meter, backflow preventor, valves and chlorination as detailed and be constructed as slab on grade with CMU walls and a metal roof. Installation of the 10-inch waterline crossing NM Highway 118 shall include a steel casing, 10-inch waterline with internal locking joints, casing spacers and end seals. Installation of fire hydrant assemblies shall be as indicated within the contract drawings. The procurement code, Section 13-1-28, NMSA, 1978 imposes civil and criminal penalties for code violations. In addition, the New Mexico criminal statuses impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities, and kickbacks.
