The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to obtain competitive bids for retaining a General Contractor (GC) to furnish, install, manage, and coordinate all the work for the Freezer replacement at Klamath County School District Office. This is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. The General Scope of this Project is to replace the existing walk-in freezer/cooler at the district office located at 2845 Greensprings Dr. Klamath Falls, OR 97601. Anticipated Notice of Intent to Award (NOI) on or about February 28th, 2023. Anticipated Executed Contract on or about March 1, 2023. The District aspires to a goal of ten (10) percent DMWESBSDVBE content, by contract value, in completing our capital bond work, and the Contractor shall expend reasonable efforts to reach this content in the total value of their contracts with the District. Scope of work to Include the Following: Order - receive all equipment Lay-out walk-in to print Construction of new walk-in and finishes/sealing Mount and connect all evaporators and set condensing units Run/Connect all refrigeration lines to equipment Evaluate all systems and functionality - test run equipment fix where needed Run all drain lines to the drain hub Install roof on outdoor box Complete all necessary exterior finishing's, flashes, curbing Ground level entry from warehouse Outdoor L - shaped freezer (-10-degree F) Size 50' x 20' x 10' 9" Free span roof, no support beams in the middle of the freezer Ceiling - those that meet all Klamath County codes Floors - NSF Pallet Jack approved
