Prequalification of Exotic Vegetation Removal of Contractors

The City of Cape Coral, Florida is seeking Qualifications of Contractors to provide the City with Removal Services for Brazilian Peppertree and Exotic Tree/Vegetation, this qualification will be valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of notification of qualification with a possible two (2), one (1) year renewal period, for a maximum of five (5) years. This project will generally consist of, but not be limited to the removal of Exotic Trees/Vegetation (primarily Peppertrees). This program is primarily on privately-owned vacant lots on the City Lot Mowing Program, but it may include some additional City properties as needed. The City of Cape Coral, Florida will select all Contractors who are qualified based on selection criteria outlined in this Request for Qualifications. This group of Qualified Contractors will be the only companies allowed to bid on all upcoming Invitations to Bid (ITBs) for the removal of Exotic Trees/Vegetation (primarily Peppertrees) for the given qualification period. A project within the terms of the contract including location and quantity of material will be released as a competitive solicitation to all the qualified firms. The number of projects released to qualified contractors may vary depending on the size of the projected project and the needs of the City.
