Indian River Road Phase VII-B - PG100213 - City Of Virginia Beach

As of October 31, 2022, a design team has not been identified. Construction timeline is September 2024-January 2027. VDOT UPC #110804. This project will provide the addional two lanes (northbound) of the Indian River Road Phase VII-A secon from Lynnhaven Parkway to Elbow Road Extended, a distance of approximately 2.1 miles. The construcon of the addional two lanes will complete the ulmate four-lane divided roadway configuraon on Indian River Road. The typical roadway secon includes mul-use paths, on-road bicycle accommodaons, street lights and landscaping (noise barriers previously constructed in Phase VII-A). The majority of the project corridor will be realigned further east, away from adjacent Stumpy Lake, wetlands, and the floodplain. Project is included City of Virginia Beach FY 2022-2027 CIP *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
