East 22nd Street Drainage Improvements

The project includes storm drainage improvements that consist of the removal of existing storm drain piping and structures, the construction of new of storm drain piping, multiple drainage structures, concrete curb & gutters, and asphalt hot mix surface course overlay. The successful bidder will agree to complete all work described in plans and specifications within 90 calendar days of the written Notice to Proceed. Failure to complete the work within specified time limits shall subject the contractor to liquidated damages for delay. The attention of bidders is called to the fact that Arkansas Code Annotated §17-25-101, states that a Contractor must be licensed by the State Licensing Board for Contractors before he may undertake work when the cost thereof in Arkansas is Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00)The City of Russellville encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services and construction, either as a general contractor or subcontractor. It is further requested that whenever possible, majority contractors who require sub-contractors seek qualified small, minority and woman owned businesses to partner with them. Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder's financial responsibility, his equipment, and his past performance in completing similar work. The City of Russellville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities, and to accept the proposal deemed to be for the best interest of the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
