Description | *This project will rebid. There is no date for the rebid to take place as of 8/4/2022* New Smoke/Carbon Detectors, Replacement of Bathroom Exhaust Fans, GFCI Receptacles, Refrigerator Breakers, Washing Machine Receptacles, Replacement of Light Fixtures, Appliance Installation, + -Remove all existing battery smoke detectors and turn over to Owner. -Remove all existing hard wired smoke detectors and turn over to Owner. -Provide new hard wired smoke/carbon detectors with 10-year battery at each bedroom, common area and with 15' of any gas fired appliance. -At hearing and visually impaired units provide new hard wired smoke/carbon detectors with strobes. Provide stand alone battery back-up that will operate strobes in case of a power failure. -Remove and replace existing bath room exhaust fans. Provide new exhaust fan. Connect to existing duct work. Fan to be wired to existing vanity light fixture and controlled with new 2 position timer switch. -Provide new bath exhaust fan at bath rooms without exhaust fans now. Provide new 4" diameter hard duct to vent through roof. Provide new metal vent cap on roof. Fan to be wired to existing vanity light fixture and controlled with new 2 position timer switch. -At Owner's directive and per Unit Price: Remove and replace existing GFCI receptacles in all bath rooms and kitchens as required. Refer to Unit Prices in Project Manual. -Remove and replace existing refrigerator breaker at electrical panel with new GFCI protected breaker. -Remove and replace all washing machine receptacles with new GFCI receptacle. -Remove and replace all existing ceiling light fixtures with new led type fixtures. -Provide new anti-tip device to all kitchen ranges. -Disconnect all existing ventilating attic fans. Remove existing wiring complete. Provide new R-38 batt insulation above fan. -At Owner's directive and per Unit Price: Remove and replace existing washer box, drain pipe and p-trap. Provide new washer box, 2" pvc drain pipe and pvc p-trap connected to existing drain line. -Owner to purchase all new refrigerators and ranges. Contractor to unbox and install. Contractor to be responsible for the legal disposal of existing refrigerators and ranges. -Remove all existing wall mounted carbon detectors and turn over to owner. Patch wall as required to blend invisibly with surrounding conditions. -All other work as shown on plans, in project manual and as required by codes and the authority having jurisdiction. |
