Description

Work includes the furnishing and installation of ductile iron water main, plus associated water services, fire hydrants, valves and surface restoration work. Work also includes the provision of a temporary water main and services during construction in the following location: Brook Road - approximately 1,050 linear feet of 8" ductile iron water main to replace existing AC main, as well as the furnishing and installation of temporary main and fire hydrants and approximately 211 linear feet of 1" copper service. Valley View Road - approximately 900 linear feet of 8" ductile iron water main, as well as the furnishing and installation of temporary main and fire hydrant and approximately 175 linear feet of 1" copper service. Approximately 550 linear feet is to replace existing AC main, and 350 linear feet is to complete a water main loop to the existing main in Viles Street.
