Description

The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submittal and evaluation process. This RFP does not obligate the District to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a proposal. The District reserves the right to negotiate equipment specifications regardless of the proposal design. Furthermore, the RFP does not obligate the District to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services. The NCSD is requesting proposals for the development of a system-wide video surveillance solution applicable to all district facilities. This solution shall be used to monitor movement in and around all buildings and/or surrounding properties. This solution shall also be used to contact trace as the need shall arise in and around all buildings and/or surrounding properties. The system shall be used to support the District crisis management plan and may be used in concert with other entities outside of the District such as police, fire and other first responders. Interested bidders should evaluate the current core infrastructure environment to provide a solution that is optimized to run on the network currently in place while keeping in mind district plans for future upgrades and expansions of the network and this system. Further specifications and requirements are outlined in more detail throughout this document. Responses shall be the responsibility of Chad Penson, Director of Technology, and will be posted at www.neshobacentral.com by July 20. Contact made with any other Neshoba County School District personnel may be considered grounds for disqualification. Discussions may be conducted with offers who submit proposals determined to be reasonably susceptible of being selected for the award, but proposals will be accepted without discussions. Questions, interpretations, clarifications, communication, or to schedule campus walkthroughs regarding this RFP must be submitted to Chad Penson at cpenson@neshobacentral.com by July 19 at 10 a.m. Responses shall be the responsibility of Chad Penson, Director of Technology, and will be posted at www.neshobacentral.com by July 20.
