Description | The Project consists of water main replacement and water main construction for the multiple locations listed below, in three divisions: Division A: The CC Annex neighborhood water main replacement project. This includes the following streets: Leland Street, Van Winkle Street, Ethel Street, Military Drive, Saunders Street, Clara Jean Street, Burson Drive, and Weber Street. Approximately 14,200 feet of 8-inch water main is proposed for replacement within this subdivision. Division B: The next location is 12-inch Loop starting at the Brighton Area Schools bus yard is approximately 1,000 feet of the total 4,300 feet of newly proposed 12-inch water main needed to complete the redundant loop from behind Kroger to Lee Road. Division C: The final locations include two (2) proposed directional drill installations of 24-inch water main crossings beneath US-23 in two locations: one crossing approximately 2,600 feet north of Lee Road, south of the existing 24-inch water main crossing, and the second proposed crossing approximately 1,200 feet south of Lee Road, south of the existing 24-inch water main crossing. DEPOSIT: 5% of bid amount No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. This period may be extended by mutual agreement of the Owner and any Bidder or Bidders. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any or all Bids and award the contract to other than the lowest bidder, to waive any irregularities or informalities or both; to reject any or all Bids; and in general to make the award of the Contract in any manner deemed by the OWNER, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the OWNER. The OWNER also reserves the right to award the project based on any combination of Divisions A, B, and C including eliminating any Division.
