Description | The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York ("DASNY") is soliciting bids for its Term CM-Build Contracting Program. The Term CM-Build program is a competitive bid, indefinite quantity construction contract. Projects shall be assigned by work order executed by DASNY. All trade service labor shall be subcontracted by a competitive process outlined within the contract documents. Term CM-Build contractors shall provide construction management of subcontractor work throughout the duration of the project as approved by DASNY. Construction management plan shall be submitted with each proposed work assignment that outlines the hourly breakdown of construction management personnel required to support the project. The cost of construction management plan shall be included in each work order as approved by DASNY. Contractors bid factors which cover their overhead and profit to be multiplied by the subcontracted value of the work. Monetary value of subcontracted work shall not exceed One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) per work order. DASNY will enter into Term-CM Build contracts with successful bidder(s). Term CM-Build contractors will perform individual projects as assigned in various regions (see below) for DASNY construction programs. Term CM-Build contractors provide all management, supervision, documentation and ancillary design work (as required), in facilities throughout New York State. All individuals who plan to attend bid openings in person will be required to complete and present a DASNY Visitor Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire, present government-issued picture identification to building security officials and obtain a visitors pass prior to attending the bid opening. The questionnaire and all instructions are located after Section 19.0 of the Information for Bidders. Individuals and entities submitting bids in person or by private delivery services should allow sufficient time for processing through building security to assure that bids are received prior to the deadline for submitting bids. |
