Milwaukee and Aerotec Water Mains

**As of January 6, 2023, this project has been awarded to POW Contracting in the amount of $447,312.60. Project has been Rebid As of July 15, 2022, project will rebid sometime in the fall. This project consists of work at two separate work sites that will include installing approximately 1700 linear feet of 8 inch and 10 inch C900 PVC watermain, water main valves, tapping sleeves, roadway subgrade excavation, HMA patching, connecting to existing water mains, reconnecting existing water services, and traffic control..All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashiers check, or bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the maximum total amount of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract or furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the deposit shall be forfeited to the City. All bidders shall call 509-764-3786 prior to bid opening to sign up as a bidder on the project, whether or not they request a hard copy or obtain a digital copy of the Specifications. Bids received from bidders who are not signed in as a bidder on the project will be rejected for being non-responsive. Estimated Project Cost: $400,000 - $600,000.Contract Working Days: 75. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best interest of the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
