Description Regrade and pave with 2" hot asphalt three (3) access lots. The specific areas are located at 1731, 1741 and 1720 Shivers Road, Columbia, SC 29210. SCDJJ is seeking qualified grading and paving contractors to grade two existing gravel access areas and one that needs graded, gravel and paving. It has been estimated that up to 4 truckloads 20 tons each, of new crush and run will be needed for proper base prior to paving to 2" thick of hot asphalt and rolled. It is important to note that at location C no base is present and will require removal of topsoil and installation of proper crush and run base before paving. Vegetation retardant applied before paving is required. Proper drainage is essential for the safety of the vehicles utilizing the areas. All water must flow away from buildings.
