WWTF Digester Mixing Upgrades

The work, in general, will include the following schedule of work: The two existing anaerobic sludge digesters are to be upgraded with the installation of two centrifugal chopper type pumps, one for each digester, along with the required piping, electrical and control for operation. The work also includes the removal of the existing compressed gas digester mixing system and related piping which was installed in 1992. The HVAC system for the building between the two digesters will also be upgraded with new equipment. The two existing sludge recirculation centrifugal pumps used in conjunction with the digester heat exchanger will also be replaced with new pumps of the same type and size.
