Landfill Vegetation Removal Services

a. The work contemplated by this Invitation to Bid is restricted to the Project Areas shown on the attached Exhibit 1. b. The Project Areas are as follows: i. Area .11 acres ii. Area .13 acres c. Depending on pricing, the City anticipates contracting services for one or both of the Areas listed this current Fiscal Year. d. Respondents can provide pricing for one or both Project Areas. However, Respondents should not provide a single price for all Project Areas collectively. Pricing should be listed for Project Areas individually. e. The Successful Respondent shall cut and remove all woody vegetation including shrubs and trees at no higher than four (4) inches above grade within the Project Areas. f. Woody vegetation shall be cut as close to grade as is practicable, but in no instance shall be cut at a height higher than four (4) inches above grade. g. All woody vegetation cut shall be removed from the Project Area and delivered to the Landscape Recycling Center. The Successful Respondent shall not pay the disposal fees at the Landscape Recycling Center, but shall instead have the fees billed to the City of Urbana. Alternatively, the vendor may grind or mulch the woody vegetation and leave in place. h. All non-woody vegetation shall be cut to a height no higher than six (6) inches. i. The Successful Respondent shall enter into a contract with the City of Urbana for the work described in this Invitation to Bid. All work described in the contract shall be completed within 30 days of execution of the contract.
