Description | Building B Roofing Restoration Installation Bid Deadline For Submitting Questions 04-Nov-2022 12:00 PM PST Restoration of existing roofing with Owner Supplied Fluid Applied Restoration system per included specifications. Completion Bond-100% 1. Properly clean entire roof system per specification, clean off all loose minerals. 2. Cut out all blisters and any wet foam, install new foam, insure a level surface. 3. Repair all defects in roof system per manufacturers specification and NRCA standards, three-course with LiquiTec and reinforcement fabric. 3 gals/sq. embed fabric, then apply another 2 gals/sq. on top 4. Prime any asphalt mastic (within one year old) with Garla-Block per manufacturers specification. 5. Remove any existing walk pads 6. Contractor to install Tuff-Stuff caulking to all coping seams. 7. Install polyester reinforcement fabric to all ponding water areas per manufacturers specification. 3 gals/sq., embed fabric, then apply another 2 gals/sq. on top, allow to cure. 8. Properly reattach all loose fasteners on any metal coping cap system. Replace any missing fasteners with slightly large that have a neoprene washer 9. Remove all dried-out caulking at any term bar or counter flashing, install all new Tuff-Stuff caulking. 10. Coordinate with Owner to shut down and cover all HVAC units with visqueen to prevent any odors from entering building. 11. Remove any dried coating, asphalt, etc. on any HVAC pans, coat any HVAC pans with LiquiTec at 2 gals/square. 12. Refill any pitch pockets with Seal-Tite sealant. 13. Coat up all parapet walls with LiquiTec 14. Coat any HVAC duct seams with LiquiTec coat @ 2 gals/sq. 15. Repair all internal drains, replace all missing bolts, retorque all bolts, verify proper seal, etc. 16. Apply a coat of LiquiTec base coat at 1 1/2 gal/sq. over entire roof system per manufacturers specification. Contractor must roll product, spraying this product is not allowed. Allow to fully cure 17. Apply a second coat of LiquiTec at 1 gal/sq. over the entire roof system per manufacturers specifications. 18. Contractor to apply sealant to existing skylights per manufactures guidelines. 19. Contractor to protect adjacent areas, and clean all drips and spills. 20. Contractor is responsible for receiving, storage and hoisting of all material 21. Contractor to install the owner supplied material. Any material or accessories required for the installation of the roof system is excess of the County provided material must be supplied by the Contractor. It is up to the contractor to determine the precise amount of material required for the completion of this project; and to provide excess material, as required. 22. Manufacturers Rep to provide job site inspections. 23. Contractor is responsible to "field measure" the entire roof system, the owner is NOT responsible for any errors on the provided drawings. |
