Description

Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Topeka, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility. The HVAC system for the Topeka Performing Arts Center and City hall are in dire need of replacement. In 2020 PKMR Engineers checked the HVAC air handling unit of the system and gave it a rating of 1 - the worst score. This inspection revealed that the HVAC system is not up to code and is in dire need of replacement or else it can become a fire hazard This project is in included in the City of Topeka FY 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 12, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
