Description

Rehabilitating the existing pavement on various county and township roads by means of resurfacing the existing pavement with 448 asphalt concrete. The resurfacing will consist of an average thickness of 1-3/8” of asphalt concrete to match the width of the existing pavement. A tack coat will be applied on the existing pavement before resurfacing. 448 Asphalt Concrete shall have minimum bitumen content of 6.2% and may contain a maximum of 10% recycled material. Aggregate to be used in hot mix shall be stockpiled, Total number of miles being resurfaced is approximately 21.61 miles of which 16.05 miles
