BPU Facility Security Improvements and System Integration

Furnish and install Kantech Access Control System (ACS) equipment, Exacqvision Enterprise edition video surveillance (CCTV) system equipment and Digital System Controls (DSC) intrusion detection system equipment with related periphery and integration. Contractor must be Kantech and Exacqvision Enterprise certified with experience installing DSC equipment and integrating these systems. Complete integration, configuration and programming of the new equipment with the existing system into Owners existing Kantech EntraPass corporate edition application shall be provided with the installation. System shall utilize owners existing network infrastructure between facilities and buildings. System shall function with existing Owners proximity cards as well as with new NEDAP UHF long-range window tags and readers specified within this project. All new, specified equipment shall be provided along with all necessary installation wiring, configuration, programming, training and commissioning and performed by the same contractor. The existing ACS, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems shall remain functional at all facility locations while the new systems are being installed and programmed. Existing zones and access levels shall be transferred as is in the existing when configuring the new systems. Proper planning, scheduling, and coordination with Owner shall be applied for each facility building such that cutover can be completed within one eight-hour day. The new systems shall be fully functional with existing Owners’ proximity cards for staff at the end of the cutover day.
