Roof Rehab on Two Oasis Pole Barns at Big Cypress

This project will replace metal roofing panels and wood framing of two pole barns at the Oasis Visitor Center. The structures were built in 1992; Each pole barn is 24’ x 120’. Approximately 10% of the roofing panels need replacement. Approximately 350’linear feet of sub-fascia will be replaced, and 600’ linear feet of finished fascia will be replaced. The replacement panels are to be standing seam panel that lock together rated 140 mph. Contractor shall follow all state and federal regulations pertaining to installation. Panels will be galvalume 24-gauge metal. The Pole Barns have issues with birds nesting in the rafters and contractor will close the attic space by using a recycled material 4’ x 8’ panels to fasten to the bottom of rafter cords sealing attic space that the birds cannot nest defecating on all the equipment. Contractor will clean up all their work debris.
