Description | Scope: Tear down the current wall and properly dispose of waste. Customer will keep and save the existing swing gate. I. New fence/wall will extend from the edge of rip rap to the road 9 ft L x 6 ft H, and from road to the dirt area 25 ft L x 6 ft H. a) Option 1: Decorative rock pillar (rock color should be similar color to the surrounding natural rocks) at each end with a metal decorative bar fence (dark brown to match gate). Example on attachment 1 b) Option 2: Full length decorative rock wall at each side of automatic gate. Example on attachment 2 II. Automatic gate between fence/wall 26 ft L x 5 ft H; dark brown (powder coated) with appropriate sensors to include vehicle loop, timer set to close automatic at 4:00 pm, keypad mounted on the exterior wall, left side of the gate. a) Two-part swing gate, design shall be made to withstand high winds. Top of the gate should be no higher than the wall/fence, with no less than 5' and no more than 10' clearance from the bottom of the gate to ground. b) Vehicle loop to be placed on the center of the road to exit the hatchery. Loop sensor shall open the gate when a vehicle is detected leaving the hatchery and it should close automatically after the vehicle has cleared the gate. c) Gate operator shall be equipped to be able to be operated with a remote transmitter. III. Contractor to provide options on design of gate and fence/wall. Spring Creek NFH will select the most appropriate design. Option 1. Use existing wall as a base to extend the wall out and up to the specified length and height. Install new face rock throughout the entire extended wall. I. Install new automatic gate using same requirements as above. |
