Description | The City of Williamsport (Williamsport Bureau of Fire) is requesting bids for a new roof system at 440 Walnut Street, Williamsport Fire Headquarters. All addenda or Clarifications will be listed here: CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 3/6/2023 2:00 PM The work involves removal of the existing roof and complete installation of a new roof system (approx 10,700 SF), as noted here: Clean off, and Remove all loose pebble stones and dispose of. Install approx. 1 1/2 " thick approved board stock. Fasten Flexion XL 60 mil single-ply membrane, or approved equal. Thermal-fuse (hot air weld) overlapping seams. Seal free edges using 306-S urethane sealant, or approved equal. Installation of new roof trim and drains to be included also. 20-year warrantee on roof materials, workmanship, and leaking is required. The City will supply power and water to the lob bidding awarded contractor. PA state wages rates are required for this project. They are included in the documents section. equirements for a successful bid are: Required bid paperwork filled out Non-Collusion Affidavit 5% bid Bond Bid Price entries and bidder Acknowledgment questions answered A cashier's check or an acceptable bidder's bond, payable to the City of Williamsport, in an amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the largest possible total for the bid submitted, must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable equal opportunity laws and regulations. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the Bids and in the Bidding. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date bids are opened. Questions should be directed to Williamsport Fire Chief, Sam Aungst. An advertised public bid opening will occur shortly after bid due date. |
