Description

The Weir River Water System Requires this essential work be performed on GAC filters No. 1 and 2 in order to ensure proper operation of the water treatment plant and deliver the highest quality of water to our customers. The project includes, but is not limited to, all the equipment, material, and labor to rehabilitate existing gravity filters No. 1 and No. 2 within the Weir River Water System WTP facility located at 900 Main Street, Hingham, MA. The work includes, but is not limited to, gravel and GAC filter media change-out and inspection; gravel and GAC media delivery receiving, off-loading, and installation; Filter No. 1 and No. 2 repairs (if and where necessary) upon visual inspection and evaluation; undergullet inspection and removal of media from undergullet; and procurement of GAC media material.
