Description

Perform visual examinations of identified tanks and vessels. The subcontractor shall provide a qualified inspector to visually inspect the tank interiors and/or exteriors to identify and map areas of notable corrosion, coating failure, or other areas of interest. The type of corrosion observed, location, and other observations shall be noted on an inspection log sheet. Prepare visual inspection reports identifying the results of the inspection as well as, with ETF personnel concurrence, providing recommendations for observation, operational changes, inspection frequency, testing, repair, and/or replacement. The report should discuss any changes in corrosion from previous inspections. The report may consider the potential effects of future operations when providing recommendations.
