Description

Sealed proposals are to be mailed to the address of 110 E. Main Street, Avon Park, Florida 33825 prior to the bid opening date and time. Sealed proposals can be hand delivered to the address of 110 E. Main Street, Avon Park, Florida 33825 the day of the opening prior to 2:00 p.m. local time. Sealed proposals shall be made to the attention of Andy Mogle, Purchasing Agent, City of Avon Park, Florida. Bidders must submit proposals for this work on the forms provided. Other proposal forms will not be accepted. Bidders must be licensed in accordance with Florida laws. Scope : The project consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment at the Avon Park Executive Airport (AVO) to rehabilitation/reconstruct the FBO/terminal apron area. The scope of work also includes removing and re-establishing electrical service to the FBO/terminal apron t-hangars. Pavements to be rehabilitated/reconstructed within the project scope include both asphalt and concrete pavements. See bidding documents for details. The complete examination and understanding of the bidding and contract documents, all addenda or other revisions, and site of the proposed work is necessary to properly submit a proposal. Although this service is not a mandatory requirement in bidding, it is the only way to be notified automatically of solicitations and all addenda or other revisions issued during the bidding process. No bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days. The City of Avon Park reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or reject any or all bids and to award or refrain from awarding the Contract for the Work.
