Description | The City of Santa Maria, CA (hereafter City) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to furnish and install a replacement audio system, video presentation system, control systems, and video production systems supporting the City of Santa Maria Council Chambers. There is significant integration with existing master control systems, audio and video over IP systems from other spaces as well as existing production equipment. The project will require tight coordination and teamwork with City staff for tenant improvement elements and maintaining this historical space. The technology used to conduct meetings is located in three separate locations: City Hall Chambers, 110 East Cook Street, Santa Maria, CA; the City Hall Control Tower; and a satellite location called Shepard Hall located in the City Library building adjacent to City Hall. City Hall, built in 1934, is a historic landmark. The Council Chamber furniture also is historic, including the one-of-a-kind raised dais where the Council and commissioners sit.
