North Platte Regional Airport Terminal - City of North Platte

Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in North Platte, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility. The owner is currently evaluating two different options for the airport terminal. The first option calls for a renovation and expansion of the current terminal at the cost of $6,300,000. This option will include the expansion of the existing facility to the north and south provides more space for the TSA security checkpoint, a secure hold room, back-of-house baggage handling, a baggage claim area, and ticketing. This alternative also includes a larger baggage carousel, a jet bridge, and aesthetic updates. The second options calls for the reconstruction of the airport terminal at a cost of $11,700,000. This option will include construction of a new facility provides several other benefits including reduced building maintenance costs, reduced energy consumption, and significant improvements to aesthetics and the passenger experience.
